Heart O’ the Hills Campground in Olympic National Park is the perfect place to set up for the night and is close to some of the best hiking attractions in the park. This campground is located near Hurricane Hill, making it the closest campground for getting on the mountain before the crowds show up.
Heart O’ the Hills Campground is a first-come, first-served campground. We recommend getting there in the morning or around lunch while people are out and try to get a spot for that night. Keep in mind, vehicles can reserve multiple nights and you can’t park where there is a reserved spot.
Flush toilets and potable water are available, but there are no showers.
There is a board when you enter the campground that shows available camping spots. You will just need to pay cash in an envelope for how many days you will be staying there and then take a slip of paper to drop in the numbered camping spot.
Parking: Included in Camping Fee
There is small parking area with places to park for people who get in late at night and if the campsites are all full.
